In 1998, I was accepted onto the three-year acting diploma course at RADA. But it came with a price tag of over £26,000. Ineligible for a grant or a student loan, I set out to discover what other resources were available to me. Without any prior experience, I constructed a fundraising campaign that raised over £26,000.
